What we teach

Coding, robotics and game design — build it, break it, build it better.

Every course is shaped with advice from Chandan, a technology leader who has built products at Meta and Amazon, and every one of them goes further than the national computing curriculum. We teach through passion, not worksheets — because a child who wants to know is a child who keeps learning long after the session ends.

Ages 6–14

Coding

Scratch to Python, and the moment a child realises the computer will do exactly what they tell it. Logic, play, and something working by the end of the day.

Ages 5–12

Robotics

Motors, sensors, LEGO and a problem worth solving. Children argue, rebuild, test again — and discover that engineering is mostly persistence.

Ages 8–14

Game design

From player to maker. Children design the rules, build the world and hand the controller to someone else — the best kind of screen time.

Coding, robotics and game design — two ways in.

Why parents choose us

Easy to book. Serious about the rest.

You know who is in the room

Named, DBS-checked, safeguarding-trained instructors in secure school buildings — and drop-off and collection you never have to guess at.

They finish what they start

Nobody goes home with an unopened box. Children leave holding something that works, and knowing they are the reason it does.

Nobody hides at the back

We cap the numbers so quiet children get asked what they think too — every session, not just the first one.

Sorted before the kettle boils

Card or childcare voucher, confirmation and invoice in your inbox straight away, and dates you can move if life changes.

Whole days of coding, robotics, game design and science

One day covers all four: children move between coding, robotics, game design and hands-on science, so nobody spends six hours on the same screen. Book a single day or the whole week; all kit is provided and childcare vouchers are welcome.

Coding, robotics and game design, up close

Robots mid-build, games mid-test, and the particular silence of a room where everyone is trying to make something work.

About AI London

It started with one mum who could not find what she was looking for.

During lockdown, Neetasha watched her two children lean into science and technology — asking the kind of questions no worksheet was going to answer. When the classrooms reopened, she went looking for somewhere in Woking or Guildford to send them.

There was nothing. So she built it.

Neetasha built the programme with her husband Chandan, an engineer whose day job has been building products at Meta and Amazon — so what children learn here mirrors how the work is actually done. Five years on, AI London has run term-time classes and holiday camps for hundreds of local children — and every one of those sessions has fed back into the programme. Each subject has been shaped, tested and sharpened until it does two things at once: keeps skills climbing week after week, and stays the part of the week children actually look forward to.

Find a session
“I was not trying to start a company. I was trying to find one hour a week where my children could build something real — and it did not exist anywhere near us.”
Neetasha · Founder, and still a parent first

Children decide how they feel about science and technology long before secondary school — usually by about the age of ten, and usually for good. UK schools are still catching up.

We exist so that decision gets made in a room where technology is exciting, hands-on and theirs to command: small in-person groups, DBS-checked instructors, secure school venues in Guildford and Woking, and every piece of kit provided.

Advised from the industry

Shaped with advice from Chandan, a technology leader who has built products at Meta and Amazon — then rewritten, term after term, from what actually worked in the room.

In person, always

Children learn faster shoulder to shoulder, with kit on the table and someone to argue with. No screens posted through a letterbox.

Ages 5 to 14

Grouped by age and stage, so the five-year-old and the thirteen-year-old are each working at the edge of what they can do.
